FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS this coating AN EPOXY?

No, it is not an epoxy. Over the years, we all have become very familiar with epoxy floor coatings. They get applied, look nice for a bit, and then chip and peel and need reapplied often. Our premium coating does not need to be reapplied and will perform head and shoulders above those epoxy products. Our coating is also UV stable and has no maintenance other than a light cleaning. We will come in, work our magic, and then leave you with a surface that is protected, durable, and beautiful.

IS THIS coating LIKE THOSE LITTLE STONES THEY PUT DOWN?

No, we do not use any type of stones in our floor coatings. We use a polyurea/polyaspartic system that is 4x stronger than epoxy and will not chip or peel.

will the surface be SLIPPERY?

Any time you seal a surface, it has the potential to be slippery when wet. To aid in traction for outdoor or any space you feel may need additional grip, we add a kiln-dried silica sand to our top coat to help with slip resistance.

HOW LONG WILL THIS coating TAKE TO INSTALL?

Most projects will be completed in just ONE DAY. We are so proud to provide such an amazing product to you with very little down time. We request the following: 12 hours to walk on, 24 hours for heavier items, 36 hours for full use!

DO YOU HAVE A WARRANTY?

We offer a limited lifetime warranty on our coating for residential spaces. If you have any issues with your coating after the installation, please contact us and we will send out a team member to assess the space as soon as possible. We want you to be satisfied with your investment and we stand behind our product and our work.

HOW DO I CARE FOR THE coating AFTER INSTALLATION?

One of the great things about a concrete coating installed by our trained team members is that it is super easy to maintain!

We recommend you sweep off any debris and then simply rinse with water. If you feel a cleaning solution is needed, we like Simple Green, Pine Sol, CLR, Dawn, or Mineral Spirits. Always make sure to thoroughly rinse the space if a cleaning product is used. A squeegee works great to clear off excess water if the space does not have a drain. Be sure to avoid long term exposure to highly corrosive materials.

Please direct any cleaning questions to your installers at the day of install or give us a call any time afterwards!

WHAT IS THE BALLPARK PRICE FOR AN AVERAGE…?

Almost every day we get inquiries about price and average costs to have our coatings installed in homes and businesses around our valley. It is very common to hear, “just give me a range…” or “what is the ballpark price for…” or “I won’t hold you to it but…”

There are a multitude of factors that go into determining the price of our premium concrete coatings. To name a few: moisture content of the concrete, hardness level, accessibility, amount of repair, etc. We don’t offer ballpark figures or ranges because each project is unique and requires an on-site assessment by one of our trained team members.

We don’t give out estimates, we give out EXACT quotes, to the penny, at the time of our meeting. We won’t give you one price and then lower it multiple times. (This is a common but tricky practice some businesses use.) We will give you the exact price and it is good for one entire year. We do not believe in “shooting from the hip” with a price. We believe in the in-person, on-site, professional assessment to provide you with our most fair and honest price for your project.

We do not believe in a high-pressure sale. We understand that everyone works hard for their money and doesn’t want to feel put in a corner when making an important purchase. Our goal at an on-site assessment is to educate you on our amazing product, answer every last one of your questions, and help you decide what will work best for your needs and your budget.
